Our Rehearsal is a transformation play credited to Mr St George (fl. 1860s).
Not to be confused with the The Rehearsal (1672)[1], the satirical play by George Villiers.

The original text
A piece described by F.C.L. Bosman (1980, p242) as a "kostelike transformasiestukkie, met manlike en vroulike rolle (i.e. "an amusing little transformation piece with male and female parts") and credited to the local actor and author "St George".
Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
1868: Performed by St George as part of three "Drawing-Room Entertainments" put on in the Commercial Exchange, Cape Town, opening on 21 January, along with an art exhibition (on the theme "Pen and Pencil Sketches, The Sea, City Village and Veld") with accompanying talk on the art, and amusing songs by St George. Repeated on 22 January.
1868: Repeated again at the beginning of February, this time in the Mutual Hall, Cape Town.
