Training
He trained in England at the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Career
He started his career at the Colchester's Mercury Theatre, England.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He appeared on stage in productions of The Circus Adventure (1973), The Alchemist (1975), Three Cheers for President Charlie (1975), The Kimberley Circus (1978), The Fantastical History of a Useless Man (1978), Shut Your Eyes and Think of England (1978), The Cherry Orchard (1978), Three Thoroughly Offensive Plays for Mother Grundies (The Space), The Taming of the Shrew (1980), The Dybbuk (1984), London Assurance (1984), Beyond Reasonable Doubt (1989) and Bouncers (1989).
Frank designed the setting for California Suite in 1978 and directed Joggers at The Space in 1979.
He had a role in Jan Scholtz's 1989 film The Emissary.
