Joshua Lindberg (Josh) (born 1972). South African actor, director, designer.

Biography

He is the son of well-known theatre couple Des Lindberg and Dawn Lindberg. Married to South African actress Zuraida Jardine.

Training

He trained at Wits.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

In 1997 he co-produced (with Howard Sacks) the play Trainspotting at the Grahamstown Festival.

He directed Birdy in 2000.

He appeared in the 1996 production by CAPAB of Macbeth as Banquo.

Other roles were in I Do x 22 and Six Degrees of Separation, and he designed set and costumes for Shopping and Fucking.

Awards, etc.

Nominated Vita Award (Gauteng region) in the categories best set and best costume design, 1998.

In the award year 1999/2000, he won the Vita Award (Gauteng region) for Birdy.
