Cry, Our Beloved Country. Met/Sonder Apologie is a cabaret-style woordkuns program (lit."word-art programme") in English and Afrikaans compiled by Mareli Hattingh Pretorius.

Performances

2017: First performed in a temporary, intimate performance space in the Eikestad Mall, Stellenbosch, by a cast of drama students directed by Mareli Hattingh Pretorius.

2018: Performed at Stellenbosch Woordfees in March, being nominated for a WoordTROfee award. the , the work was first performed .

2018: An excerpt from the work was performed on 23 November, as part of the inauguration of the Adam Small Theatre Complex of Stellenbosch University, along with the jazz musical Adam Small BeJazzed (by the Applauz Arts Initiative).
