The Adam Small Theatre Complex is the name of a multi-facility theatre centre used by the Stellenbosch University Drama Department.

An extension and revamp of the H.B. Thom Theatre, the venue was enlarged in 2016-2017, to include two theatres, more rehearsal rooms and offices, a seminar room and study centre, an enlarged wardrobe, a props room and a TV studio.

The complex was officially reopened in 2018, and was simultaneously renamed after the South African poet, playwright and academic, Adam Small. The old name has however been retained on the historic ornamental front façade of the building, to acknowledge the history of the venue.

The newly named venue was officially inaugurated on 23 November, 2018, by the Rector and Vice Chancellor, Prof Wim de Villiers, and the evening included a performance of the musical tribute called Adam Small BeJazzed, featuring former Stellenbosch drama student Natalia de Rocha and members of the Cape Town based Applauz Arts Initiative and an extract from the production Cry, Our Beloved Country. Met/Sonder Apologie by drama students directed by Mareli Hattingh Pretorius.
