Touch My Blood is a play by James Ngcobo .

Not to be confused with the 2018 album of the same name released by South African rapper AKA [1].

The orignal text

The play is a stage adaptation by James Ngcobo of Touch My Blood: The Early Years (Penguin, 2006)[2], the autobiography of journalist and author Fred Khumalo[3].

Performance history in South Africa

2009: The original production of Touch My Blood opened at the Rhodes Theatre at the National Arts Festival on July 3 and 4 and then opened at the Market Theatre on July 8 and running till 23 August. Directed by James Ngcobo with Bheki Mkhwane, Hlengiwe Lushaba-Madlala, Zesuliwe Hadebe, Lesedi Job, Mothusi Magano, Andile Mngadi, Lunga Radebe, Lebo Toko. Set designed by Nadya Cohen, lighting by Wesley France.
