Shirley Firth and British actor-director Angus Neill established this company in 1966. They took a two year lease at the Intimate Theatre doing only 3 productions, starting with a revival of André Roussin’s comedy The Little Hut (1966), followed by The Creeper (1968) and ending in 1977 with another revival, T.W. Robertson’s Caste, under the title True Hearts Are More Than Coronets. Neill now left the company, though Firth kept the lease on the theatre. This would lead to her partnership with Pieter Toerien.
