Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He joined the Soyikwa Institute of African Theatre in 1984 as an actor and brushed shoulders with theatre greats after acting in Vuka, The Road and The Trials of Brother Jero. He has also acted in Domba: The Last Dance and Children of Asazi (Woza Afrika fesitval in Washington, 1986); Mothobi Mutloatse’s adaptation of The Suit in 1993, Fanon's Children (NAF Fringe, 2001).

He directed the play Mdala (1988 and 1989).
