Based on an unnamed English play, probably translated and adapted for performance by the Rederijkerskamer Aurora II in 1872.

1872: Performed in Dutch as Een Muzikale Gek by Aurora II in the hall of the Germania Hall, Cape Town on 24 September, with De Ster van het Noorden (J.M. Belinfante).
