He married the actress Bobbette Fouché in Kimberley on 31 July 1957.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He had a role in the NTO production of Ai, Die Liewe Martha!. He also appeared on stage in Bohaai oor 'n Otjie, Bitter Einde, Die Twisappel, As Ons Twee Eers Getroud Is! and in the feature film Voor Sononder.
