Training
Corien studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department in the early 1990s.
Career
She joined PACOFS in 1992.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student she had roles in The Ghost Sonata (1989) and Ons Sal Offer Wat Jy Vra (1990).
She is best known for her role as Gretchen in the television serial Egoli: Place of Gold.
Appearances on stage include Macbeth (1992), Hospitaal op Horings (1992), 'n Lam vir die Pase (1993), My Children!, My Africa! (1993) and Curl Up and Dye, all for PACOFS.
Awards
She was nominated for Vita Awards as Best Actress for her roles in My Children!, My Africa! and the PACOFS production of Curl Up and Dye.
