Kootjie Emmer is an Afrikaans comedy feature film released in 1977. The screenplay was written by André P. Brink, based on his novel of the same name. It was directed by Koos Roets and the cast included Tobie Cronje (Kootjie Emmer), Siegfried Mynhardt (Oom Sening van Wyk), Trix Pienaar (Koekie Rautenbach ), Jan Bruyns (Armaans), Pieter-Dirk Uys (P.P. Levine), Willem de la Querra (Jopie) and Anna Cloete (Skete).
