She studied at R.A.D.A.

Career

She was on the teaching staff of the Department of Speech and Drama, University of Cape Town since moving to Cape Town during the 1950s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She was seen in several Cape Town productions such as in the role of Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest and The Linden Tree (1953). For NTO she appeared as Esther in Mornings at Seven in 1959.

She directed Mary Stuart, presented by The University of Cape Town at the Little Theatre, from 7 November 1959.
