Moyra Fine’s production company formed in 1982 with the two founder members Unity Dennis and Andrea Fine. The original intention was to stage plays that the People's Space could not finance. Lunatic and Lover by Michael Meyer was the first production, followed by Yvonne Bryceland in Dario Fo's One Woman Plays which then went on a national tour. The next play was Arrabal's The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria [1]. The last play at the Space Theatre before it closed was Mitzi Blitz, an adaptation of Trafford Tanzi [2], which also toured the country. They staged Keith Grenville’s Not About Heroes, at the Baxter Theatre and Upstairs at the Market in 1986. Robert Hewett’s Gulls which Keith Grenville directed was staged together with CAPAB in 1987, and together with PACT in 1988. **** Flight at the Market Theatre, 1988/9. A Walk in the Woods was a Market Theatre/Volute collaboration. In the Summer of 1918 and Shadowlands were also produced.
