WHITING, Leonard [1] (1950-) English actor who is best known for his role as Romeo in the 1968 Zeffirelli film version of Romeo and Juliet opposite Olivia Hussey's Juliet.
He starred in A Touch of Spring which was directed by Philip Grout and presented by Pieter Toerien at the Civic Theatre, Johannesburg in 1972. Toerien brought him out again in 1976 to star in the Ben Travers farce, The Bed Before Yesterday, together with Jean Kent, Marjorie Gordon, Naomi Buch, Graham Armitage and Gordon Mulholland.
