A text consisting of a selection and translation of assorted mystery plays in verse, by British playwright John Bowen (1926- ). First produced at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Scotland in 1967. Published by Faber and Faber, London, 1968.
Staged by the University Theatre Stellenbosch in the H.B. Thom Theatre in April 1973, directed by Robin Malan with Marthinus Basson, Deon Bosman, Johan Burger, Bridget Collie, Lochner de Kock, Awie de Swardt, Elme Gildenhuys, Jakkie Groenewald, Frans Palm, Chris Truter, Johann van Heerden, Leon van Nierop and Michelle Venter (all playing various parts). Décor by Emile Aucamp, costumes by Elaine Aucamp and movement assisted by Gisela Taeger-Berger.
