In Afrikaans
Translated into Afrikaans as Iepekonders by A.F.H. van Dijk in 195*, and by Nico Luwes in 199*.
1953: The A.F.H. van Dijk translation was performed by NTO in 1953, with 231 performances, featuring André Huguenet among others.
A new translation by Nico Luwes was presented by the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department in September 1994 in the H.B. Thom Theatre. Herman Pretorius was the director and the cast included Chris Vorster, Lisl Wolmarans, Franci Swanepoel, Martelize Kolver, Nicole Holm, Paul du Toit, Gaerin Hauptfleisch, Malan Steyn, Francois Toerien and others.
