(19**-) Academic, playwright, theatre researcher and drama lecturer. He studied Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Taught drama at Universities in Nigeria, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana. Became professor and head of the Drama Department at the Tshwane University of Technology in 20**.

He has written numerous academic articles, edited books. (See South African Theatre/Bibliography) His creative work includes several plays and poems.

He is a member of the Editorial Board of the South African Theatre Journal, a member of the IFTR African Theatre Working Group, the Society of Nigerian Theatre Artists, the Association for Rehtoric and Communication in Southern Africa and the Nigerian Folklore Society.
