uGubudele namazimuzimu: umdlalo osenzosinye esinemiboniso emihlanu (Zulu) is a one-act play by N.N.T. Ndebele. Translation of the title: Gubudele and the cannibals.
The original text
The play tells the story of Gubudele, a character who confronts cannibals (amazimuzimu), often exploring themes of conflict, tradition, and courage. The play won the Ester May Competition for Drama in 1937 before its publication in 1941. Published by Wits University Press in 1941.
A revised edition edited by J.M. Sikakana was published by Wits University Press in 1976. ISBN 9780859543637.
