Die gras is groener is an Afrikaans South African spoken-word (woordkuns) production compiled by Juanita Swanepoel from the anthology of the same name by Danie Marais. It deals with emigration, distance, longing, loss and coming home.

Performance history in South Africa

2012: Staged at the US Woordfees, Stellenbosch, compiled by Juanita Swanepoel, in the Klein Libertas Teater, on 4 and 11 March, on the Sanlam Dramafees programme. The cast was Susanne Beyers, Joanie Combrink, Roeline Daneel and Stephanie Badenhorst.
