A musical adaptation by Ron Kaftel and Johnny Boshoff (1975).

Performance history in South Africa

1973: Pieter-Dirk Uys adapted it and Jacqui Singer directed it for The Space (Cape Town) with Bill Flynn, Christopher Prophet, Jacqui Singer and Maralin Vanrenen.

1975: The Kaftel/Boshoff version presented at the Library Theatre, directed by John Hussey.
