Clara Wessels () is a theatre maker, playwright and personnel manager.
Contents
Biography
She studied drama, completing a BA Degree in theatre arts and stagecraft at Stellenbosch University, including a playwriting module (2003 - 2005) and a BA Honours in Live Performance at AFDA, with courses in Short Film, Stage Acting and Film Performance (2008).
She began her career as a Performance Trainer in Sandton, Johannesburg, (2010-2015), before joining Platinum Life as Personnel Manager in July, 2015.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As part of the playwriting course she wrote a piece called Henrik, an adaptation of the story by Nataniël (circa 2005) and a one act play about anorexia called Hoor Jy Wat Ek Sê of Luister Jy Nie….
