Probably written as part of a playwriting course in the Drama Department at Stellenbosch University, it is written as a narrative in the form of letters by a father to a son on the border during the struggle years (1970s - early 1980s). No stage directions.
The text is unpublished. A copy of the typed text found in the Drama Department archive, University of Stellenbosch. Now held in the ESAT repository at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
