Biography

He died in March 2004 in a hospital in Pretoria.

He was arts editor of the Pretoria News in the 1980s, and subsequent founder and/or editor of a number of glossy arts and culture magazines, such as De Kat (founding editor, 1985), VUKA! ("to wake up, to awaken", 198*-198*), and Habitat.

In 1980 he apparently founded PATSO (a student organisation for performing artists), which would eventually become an independent production company, known as PATO (the Performing Artists Theatre Organisation).
