André Laubscher, child actor (fl 1973-1977)
A child actor who started out as a performer in Afrikaans films while still a schoolboy, but moved on to become a medical doctor once he had finished university.
Biography
Born Andre Anthonie Laubscher, he attended Randburg High School (1973 - 1977) and the University of Stellenbosch (MB. Ch.B Medicine 1978 - 1983). He began in Medical Practice in Rawsonville in September 1987 then settled to work in Ceres from February 2005 onwards.
