Albert Pretorius (198*-) is a stage and film actor and playwright.
He also performs under the name Albertus Pretorius on occasion.

Biography
Pretorius studied drama at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2008.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He made his professional acting debut in Jaco Bouwer's #Untitled in 20**, and has performed with Dutch theatre group Toneelgroep De Appel on various occasions, both here and in Holland.
He is a founding director of The Pink Couch company, along with Tara Notcutt, Gideon Lombard and Mat Lewis.
Albert has appeared on stage in productions such as Long Walk to Freedom, 3 Little Pigs (2014), Balbesit (2013), …miskien (2011) and (2014) Thom Pain (based on nothing) (2011) and (2014), Dogma (2014), Doodsnikke, Playland (2014), Fatal (2015), Waiting for this God ou (2014) Messe in Henne, Nagwond and Nêrens, Noordkaap (2017).
Television Roles include Waterfront (Season 1) Binnelanders (Season 6), Die Boekklub (Season 2), Buurtwag (Season 1) and Die Boland Moorde (Seasons 1 and 2).
Film roles include Die Wonderwerker (2012), Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013), Konfetti (2014), Koffie en Sigarette (2023).
As a playwright he has written he co-authored …miskien with Tara Notcutt and Gideon Lombard (2014); 3 Little Pigs with Rob van Vuuren, Tara Notcutt and James Cairns, and authored Fatal (2015),
