The Franklin Players is community theatre organisation based in Roosevelt Park, Johannesburg.
The venue
Founded in 1962, it has been running for over sixty years. The Franklin Players put on at least three productions a year, including an annual festival of one-act plays, a our mid-year comedy and a big bang year-end musical. Sometimes more shows are done in between.
The society is a member of the South African National Community Theatre Association (SANCTA).
