He worked as stage manager for NTO, Leonard Schach and Interim Cape Theatre Board, and was at one time manager of the Etienne Rousseau Theatre in Sasolburg.

He acted in Anna Christie (1962-3), Die Bekentenis (PACT 1971) and Hotel Paradiso (PACT 1971).
