The Trial is the title of several plays written and/or produced in South Africa.

The Trial by Franz Kafka

This is the English title given to a number of stage adaptations of the novel Der Prozess by Franz Kafka.

The Trial by Mzwandile Maqina

A play dealing with a young girl's battle against Section 6 of the Law on Terrorism. Produced in New Brighton, near Port Elizabeth in 197*. The play was immediately banned and the author was arrested.
