The original text

The play is a stage adaptation of the Afrikaans novel of the same name by Annelie Botes. The The novel, published by Tafelberg Publishers Ltd in 2001, deals with the issue of autism and a mother’s attempts to deal with it.

2003: Botha's play was first performed at the Woordfees and the KKNK festivals in 2003, directed by Marthinus Basson, with Antoinette Kellerman, June van Merch, Neels van Jaarsveld and Lorraine Burger.
