Die Goeie Oue Tyd ("The good old times") is a play by Sita (1898-1987).
The original play
A tale about events taking place in the Cape during the time of Governor Simon van der Stel. Written in 1944, based on a theme suggested by Anna Neethling-Pohl.

Later filmed under the title Simon Beyers by Pierre de Wet.
