Trevor Whittock (19*-). Academic and writer, Poet, Director.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student at Wits University he co-produced The Boy With A Cart (1950), produced Purgatory, a one-act play by W.B. Yeats for the University Players (1951) and in 1950 he acted in a student production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
He co-directed The Exception and the Rule by Bertolt Brecht (with Patricia Whittock, at The Space, 1973).
He wrote an introduction to the plays of H.W.D. Manson published in Critical Survey, 4(4):176-192, 1970.
