The initial draft text for this play was called In die Lente, but altered to Pampoenfluit, probably at the suggestion of the director, for performance.

1991: Performed as Pampoenfluit at the National Arts Festival at Grahamstown by the Stellenbosch University Drama Department (UTS) on 25–27 July.
