Nicholas studied at UCT.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He also performed in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf at the Grahamstown Festival in 2001.

Roles include Mozart in Amadeus (Baxter Theatre, 2006; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Baxter Theatre, 2007), The Tempest, The Zoo Story, Buried Child, Death of a Colonialist, FourPlay, The Frontiersman and The Father (2016).

He has also had several film and television roles.

Awards, etc.

For his role as Mozart in Amadeus he won the Fleur du Cap, Best Actor.
