Ronny ("Ron") Belcher (1958-2005) was a South African actor, gospel singer and later full-time lay preacher. Studied Drama at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department. As an actor best known for his roles in SABC1 television series in the 1980's, such as Le Clue in Fynbos and later as the charming doctor Daan Lategan in Cul de Sac. Killed in a car accident near Pretoria in 2005.
