The original text
A stage adaptation by Fransi Phillips and director Ilse van Hemert of a early draft of Phillips's short surrealistic story Sewe en Sewentig Stories oor 'n Clown ("Seventy-seven stories about a clown").
The prose text was published as Sewe en Sewentig Stories oor 'n Clown in 1985 and short-listed for the Rapport Prize for Literature in 1986.
