First produced in 1969 at the London Film School 1969, with Pieter Uys, Ian Lowe, Vari Sylvester, directed by Pieter-Dirk Uys.

Translations and adaptations
Performance history in South Africa
1973: First staged professionally Upstairs at The Space (Cape Town), directed and designed by Pieter-Dirk Uys with Sue Boekstein, Val de Klerk, Peter Piccolo and Christopher Prophet. Lighting by Jeff Shapiro and stage management by Donald Fuller.
1980: Market Theatre, with Terry Norton, Roberta Durrant, Jonathan Rands, Murray Angus-Leppan – Directed by Pieter-Dirk Uys.
1994: A production presented at the Loft Theatre was directed by Garth Anderson opened on 24 November 1994. The cast included Calvin Hayward.
