Meg's Diversion is a drama in two acts by Henry Thornton Craven (1818-1905)[1].

First performed in London at the New Royalty Theatre on 17 October, 1866 and published by Thomas Hailes Lacy, 1867.

Performance history in South Africa

1867: Performed by the Le Roy-Duret Company in the Theatre Royal, Harrington Street, Cape Town, on 11 and 12 November with Brough's burlesque version of Euripides's Medea and a dance ("Grand Pas Seul") by Miss Clara.

1873: Performed by Disney Roebuck and company in the Mutual Hall, Cape Town, on 29 December, with Roebuck as "Sir Ashley Morton" and E. Palmer as "Jasper Pidgeon". Also played was Creatures of Impulse (Gilbert).

1873: Performed by Disney Roebuck and company in the Mutual Hall, Cape Town, on 30 December, with A Rough Diamond (Buckstone).

1874: Performed by Disney Roebuck and company in the Mutual Hall, Cape Town, on 6, 9 and 10 January, with Aladdin.
