Die Hartseerwals is a 1985 South African Afrikaans film by Annie Basson.

The film
The screenplay was by Leon van Nierop and it was based on a short story by Hennie Aucamp.
Production team
Directed by Annie Basson with writing credits due to Hennie Aucamp (short story) and Leon van Nierop (screenplay). Produced by Herman Binge and Dick Voorendyk. Cinematography by Digby Young, film editing by Ester Worst and costume design by Birrie le Roux. Art department credits due to Birrie le Roux (set designer), Darrell Roodt (property master) and Koos Voorendyk (set builder). Sound department credits due to Barrie Kriel (sound), Rüdiger Payrhuber (sound transfers) and Eddie Pearse (final mix). Script and continuity by Meg Tainton.
