Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He directed An Ideal Husband at the Civic Theatre in 1969.

Toerien-Rubin brought him and actors Cicely Courtneidge, Jack Hulbert, Roger Livesey, Ursula Jeans, David Kossoff and Robertson Hare from London to star in Oh, Clarence at the Civic Theatre circa 1970.

He directed Who Killed Santa Claus? starring John Justin and Naomi Chance for Toerien-Firth Company in 1971. He directed Michael Atkinson, Shelagh Holliday and Michael McGovern in Double Edge for Toerien-Firth Company in 1976.

He also directed productions of Murder by Procy, Wait Until Dark, Peter Pan (NAPAC 1977).
