1947: Presented by the Johannesburg Repertory Society, produced by Siegfried Mynhardt, featuring Alan Maxwell, Shirley Hepburn, Errol Wilmot, Peter Merrill, Noel Barnes, Stanley Robson, Irene Martincevic, Bessie Clary, Maurice Sidlin. In the Standard Theatre, March 1947.
1948: The Cape Reps followed in January 1948, produced by Mary Byron, starring Rita Maas as Laura and Violet Boult as Bessie.
