Done on Both Sides is a farce in one act by John Maddison Morton (1811-1891)[1].

The original text
First performed at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, London, in February, 1847 and published by Thomas Hailes Lacy in 1857 (Volume 26 of Lacy's acting edition) in the sqme year. Also The Dramatic Publishing Company (1857) and later as Volume 379 of French's acting edition (1890).

1860: Performed as Done on Both Sides by the Charles Fraser and his company in the Cabinet Theatre, Cape Town, on 11 February, with Doin' the Hansom (Harris).
