Biography
She is married to Gaerin Hauptfleisch, but continues to write, perform and direct as Stephanie Hough.
Training
She studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
As a student in the late 1990s she played in Lunch, Steel Magnolias and the musical Robin Hood.
As freelance actress she had roles in Bok-bok staan styf (Malan Steyn, KKNK, 2002), **, **, Etenstyd (Berkoff, 2005).
She has also appeared in Francois Bloemhof's cabaret Die Wêreld Wil Weet (Aardklop 2006), Stoot (KKNK 2007), Bartho Smit's Die Keiser (KKNK 2008), Derde Party (2009), A Worm in the Bud (as a student in 1998 and at the Woordfees 2011), Bloed (Aardklop 2012), Bly (KKNK 2013) and Hasepad (2013).

She was the costumier for a 2011 production of Mooi Maria.
