She studied drama at the universities of Stellenbosch and Cape Town.

Cintaine has appeared on stage in productions of Gelukkig Elke Dag! (2007), Sara (2008), Nagwond, Dream, Brother, Drif (2015), Die Seemeeu (2015), Amper, Vrystaat (2015), Moeder Moed en Haar Kinders (2014-2015), Half Leeg (2017-2018).

She plays the role of Masha in the 2018 film adaptation of The Seagull directed by Christiaan Olwagen.

Awards, etc.

She won a Fleur du Cap as best supporting actress for her role as Masja in Die Seemeeu, award year 2016.
