Training

He was a student at the University of Cape Town Drama Department where he starred as "Vincentio" in Measure for Measure in 1975.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has performed in Anastasia (PACT 1977), Die Kersietuin, El Grande de Coca Cola, Macbeth, The School for Scandal, The Archon, Rashomon, A Midsummer Night's Dream (as "Oberon"), Germanicus (with PACT).

Other productions include Die Keiser, 'n Man met Vakansie, That Skelm Scapino (as “Scapino” 1976), Die Vrek (as “Cleante” 1976), Oh What a Lovely War! (1980), The Front Page (1984), Twaalfde Nag (1981), Saterdag, Sondag, Maanag (TRUK 1978).

He directed Ghosts


He directed a production of West Side Story in 1998 for the Rand Afrikaans University (now Johanneburg University) and in 1999 Babette.

For television he directed Lisenethini (which means "the football is in the net"), a 13-episode television drama created by Pretoria's Gomolemo Mokae in 1998.
