In a Different Light is an English play by Reza de Wet (1952-2012)
Written in 1989, it is a play about the relationship between two sisters after the loss of their mother.
One of De Wet's only attempts at psychological realism, the play was not well received by critics and is one of the few texts by De Wet that have not been published.
1989: Performed as In a Different Light at the Market Theatre, directed by Lindsay Reardon with De Wet in the cast. It was to be her last stage role, before her final appearance in Die See 22 years later (2011), once more directed by Reardon.
