The Vrystaat Kunstefees is an Afrikaans language arts festival held annually in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Originally known as the Volksblad-kunstefees, later renamed the Vryfees ("Free Festival").
In 2018 the name was changed to the Vrystaat Kunstefees (or the Vrystaat Arts Festival in English and Tsa-Botjhaba in Southern Sotho), with the objective of forging creative connections with English and Sotho cultures.
