He was a member (with Mr Wilmore and Mr Leonard) of The Kickapoos, a Cape Town dance group, which performed at the Theatre Royal, Cape Town on 6, 7 and 11 March 1878, as part of an evening of entertainment that included The Disney Roebuck company in Adrift by Sutton Vane.
