Andrew Botha (19**-) Stage, set and costume designer, and director.
Started his career with set designs for Hello, Dolly! (1980). He has since been a designer on more than a thousand projects, including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1983), The Marriage of Figaro, Camelot, Sweeney Todd, My Fair Lady, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar (1991), David Kramer and Taliep Petersen's Poison(*?),. He has worked in Greece, South Korea, Australia, China, Holland, Russia and Malaysia, including on Creators (for Cirque du Soleil [1], 200*). Created and designed the popular Queen at the Opera with Geoffrey Sutherland and Graham Scott (Durban Playhouse, 1990), followed by OPERAMania (with Packed House Productions, 2009). In 1987 he aided Stan Knight in converting the old B.G. Alexander Nurses Home hall into the Adcock-Ingram Auditorium for PACT. Did set and costume design for Gigi (PACT, 1992)
