The play, written in commemoration of the passing of South African author Olive Schreiner on 11 Dec 1920. It was originally written for the stage, intended for performance at the Arena Platform at the National Arts Festival.

The play was turned into a collaborative theatre and film piece as a curated piece at the Virtual National Arts Festival.
